Indian Army organised Drugmullah Premier League DPL at Drugmullah Kupwara   Sultan Warrior Drugmulla lifts Drugmullah Premier League  trophy  Aadil Akbar Kupwara    In a significant initiative to promote sports and community bonding, the Indian Army organised Drugmulla Premier League, which was held from 22 to 28 Nov 2023 A total of 8 teams participated with teams fielded from local areas of Anderhama, Muquamshah wali, Gund & Chailpati. All the matches were held at Anderhama Middle School Cricket Ground.  The finals was played between Andherama Cricket Club & Sultan Warriors Durgmullah. Cricket is a game which is very passionately played in the heartland of Lolab and is very close to the heart of each and every Lolabian. The first ever Lolab Premier League T-10 Girls' Cricket tournament was organised by the Indian Army as a precursor event to the Lolab Mela 2023. The matches started on 11 October 2023 and were played on a Knock Out Basis. The final match of the tournament was played on 19 October 2023 at Chandigam Sports complex between Wonder Girls Sogam and Red Wings Handwara and had supporters thronging the venue in huge masses to cheer and support their respective favourite team.  LOLAB MELA TREKKING EXPEDITION 2023 CONDUCTED BY 28RR AT KUPWARA  "A walk in nature, walks the soul back home." - Mary Davis AADIL AKBAR KUPWARA: Indian Army as a part of Lolab Mela organised Trekking Expedition on 14-15 Oct 2023.* The expedition flagged off from Dherian, Lolab and destination being Giyun Gali. *Total of 83 adventure loving people participated in the be*. The trek gave them all an opportunity to walk through the unexplored heights with serene view throughout the trek.  Fun games were organised at Giyun Gali which included Horse Riding, Tug of War, Air Rifle Shooting & Rug Race.
