 ARMY HOLDS WORKSHOP FOR SPECIALLY ABLED PERSONS.






LANGATE


     With the aim to empower Specially Abled Persons and spread awareness amongst them on Medical, Psychological, Social, Economic and Life Skills, the *Army camp Langate* organised workshop, which was undertaken by Mrs Nishtha Thaker Anand (suffering from genetic disorder), the Managing Director and Founder Trustee of a Gujarat based NGO, ‘Spreading Smile Charitable Trust'. The workshop was conducted as part of the project *“UMMED” - A Ray of Hope*.

   

     A total of *54 persons (27 Specially Abled Persons and 27 attendants) participated* in the workshop. Mrs Nishtha Thaker and her team of five representatives *suggested various methods to channelise their energies in the right direction* and also advised them to maintain positive frame of mind. 

     

      The Specially Abled Persons including their attendants and Awam *expressed their gratitude and thanked Army* for organising the workshop.
