*Positivity rate declines drastically in Kupwara: DC Kupwara*
*_Appeals for adherence of CAB, inoculation at vaccination centres_*

KUPWARA, JUNE 7: Deputy Commissioner reiterating his appeal, urged upon the people of district Kupwara to religiously follow the Covid appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and attend nearnest Vacciantion centres for timely inoculation against Covid-19 pandemic.
Deputy Commissioner was addressing media persons here at Kupwara.
He said the recovery rate has increased upto 89% whileas, positivity rate has drastically come down from 9.5% to 5.33% in the district. He congratulated all those persons involved in Covid-19 mitigation efforts for their hard work and good result.
They Deputy Commissioner said that number of total positive cases in the district is 12735 whileas, the number of recovered patients is 11323. He said the district witness 148 deaths since the beginning of Covid-19.
Regarding containment red zone management, the Deputy Commissioner said that total number of active red zones is 76 where 507 cases are active.

Brigadier Sajjanhar Visits NCC Annual Training Camp at Udhampur

  Aadil Akbar  Udhampur, August 29: Brigadier Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar, visited the Annual Training Camp of 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara at the Zorawar Training Academy, Udhampur.
