Today 92 Bn KOS, Central Reserve Police Force has organized a free medical camp in the vicinity of Police Post Kralgund, PS Handwara at Govt. Middle  School Kralgund,  under Civic Action programme.  More than 200 patients including children, women and elderly were treated and given medicines. 



 Though the main role of CRPF is internal security, even then we are always ready to provide assistance to the public by conducting medical camps. This Unit will conduct more such camps to assist the local public in future.


      While delivering vote of thanks Sh. Vijay Kumar, 2nd in command 92 Bn CRPF briefly described about the programme and stated that such programmes have been organized by the CRPF under its social responsibility schemes where in they identify the needy segment of the society in their area of operations. 


He also added that such programme are being organized by the force to develop Police-Public relation and faith among local people on security forces and vigorous efforts are always made to tender helping hand in all respect to boost up the health. 


In addition to this, CRPF has its CRPF Madadgaar helpline established at IGP, KOS, CRPF, Office Pantha Chowk, Srinagar, J&K  through which financial assistance  for the following aspects is also provided to the J&K Inhabitants by calling on HELPLINE NO-14411.

Haemodialysis/Chemotherapy, Assistance to Needy, Assistance to travelers, Tourists/pilgrimages.

He also informed that 92 Bn has successfully hosted many such programmes and will continue in future too to help the needy segment. He hoped that such efforts will not only help the needy, but also dispel misconception about the force and make people friendlier to it.

Brigadier Sajjanhar Visits NCC Annual Training Camp at Udhampur

  Aadil Akbar  Udhampur, August 29: Brigadier Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar, visited the Annual Training Camp of 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara at the Zorawar Training Academy, Udhampur. The camp, which began on August 23 and will conclude on September 1, 2025, holds special significance as it is the first training camp organized by the newly raised battalion.
