 *ADIEU PROGRAMME HELD FOR  BAKARWAL CHILDREN AT RADHA*

The Naugam Brigade continued its tradition to encourage and provide basic education to the children of bakarwals at Radha post of Naugam Brigade. The school other than imparting education also focussed on overall development of these children by org various sports and co-curricular activities which gave them an exposure to contemporary school curriculum. These activities included basic education, cultural events and various sports and games.


As the Bakharwals before the onset of winter returns to their villages after a long period of four months, a farewell party was organised for their children on the last day of school as a token of remembrance. Variety of cultural events, games, music, dance and lunch was organised for them and gifts in the form of notebooks and books were given away. 


The similing faces of these children gave a clear message that the Radha School under aegis of Naugam Brigade achieved its aim of encourading importance of education to these kids who shares invaluable relationship with Indian Army.

Brigadier Sajjanhar Visits NCC Annual Training Camp at Udhampur

  Aadil Akbar  Udhampur, August 29: Brigadier Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar, visited the Annual Training Camp of 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara at the Zorawar Training Academy, Udhampur. The camp, which began on August 23 and will conclude on September 1, 2025, holds special significance as it is the first training camp organized by the newly raised battalion. On his arrival, Brigadier Sajjanhar was received by Commanding Officer Colonel Amit Bhardwaj and Administrative Officer Lt Colonel S.S. Misquith.
