 An awareness campaign under the aegis of an Indian Army patrol was conducted at Mawar Valley to celebrate World Animal Day and raise awareness an advocate better treatment for animals. 


Invoking the religious perspective on treatment of animals, the campaign drew attention to the challenges faced by the diverse fauna especially in the impending harsh winters and urged all to rise against animal cruelty and take care of these sentient beings. 


The participating youth pledged their commitment towards the well being and care of mankind’s oldest friend.

Brigadier Sajjanhar Visits NCC Annual Training Camp at Udhampur

  Aadil Akbar  Udhampur, August 29: Brigadier Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar, visited the Annual Training Camp of 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara at the Zorawar Training Academy, Udhampur. The camp, which began on August 23 and will conclude on September 1, 2025, holds special significance as it is the first training camp organized by the newly raised battalion. On his arrival, Brigadier Sajjanhar was received by Commanding Officer Colonel Amit Bhardwaj and Administrative Officer Lt Colonel S.S. Misquith.
