 INDIAN ARMY INTERACTS WITH YOUTH AT KRUSAN LOLAB KUPWARA.

Indian Army's Zorawar Garrison, Gujjarpatti under the aegis of Cherkut Garrison*  organised A Day with Company Commander' at Krusan village, Kupwara. The event commenced with a National Anthem followed by a brief talk by the Company Commander' on History of Kashmir, Sufism, Nationalism and the role of youth in its sustainable developments.


 Thereafter, the Company Commander interacted with people and children of Krusan and it's adjoining villages of Lolab, Distt Kupwara and spent an entire day with them with an aim to inculcate spirit of nationalism, pride for great heritage & culture of Kashmir, the sense of belongingness towards the motherland and further consolidating the existing dependable and everlasting rapport with citizens.


During this informal talk the Company Commander discussed on various issues which will have a positive impact on the public, i.e. Great cultural heritage with special emphasis on Sufi tradition, development in Kashmir post abrogation of article 370 and social welfare schemes to basic development needs of the people.The Company Commander also enquired about the well being of people and briefed them about various initiatives being undertaken by Army under Sadhbhavana for the welfare of its  citizen. It was heartning to see locals appreciating and acknowledging the Army as the first responder in their needs.


After educational session, children were involved in fun activities like Tug of War, lemon-spoon race, throw the ball competition, sack race and badminton where both boys and girls displayed their spirit and strength which resulted in fun and joy. Overall event was healthy mix of knowledge and fun which got culminated with lot of Happy Faces around.


A total of 87 youth and children, both male and female enjoyed the day with their Company Commander and conveyed their gratitude to the Indian Army for being with them in times of need.
