First time in Mawar valley , More than 200 Students took Career Counselling in one convocation ; Naugam brigade had organised 'Pragati aur Pramarsh 2022'.


The Naugam brigade organised  career counselling convocation 'Pragati aur Pramarsh 2022'  workshop  for the students of the Mawar valley, Kupwara District region under the patronage of Brigadier AK Bora commander 17 Inf Brigade. 


 In this convocation students in greater strength participated from AGS school Naugam, Govt school Naugam, Govt High school Sanzipura and many other students attended the workshop through Google Meet.



 Students mainly from rural areas participated in the event wherein the coordinator Mr Professor Gagan Suri and Mrs professor Taru Mehen took sessions on future career options with respect to individual streams, independent opportunities and  Enterpreneur options available to the students .


 The workshop lasted for more than three hours to include questions answer sessions with students and teachers.  



As part of a bigger outreach program to make the youth be aware about their career options for future, which is presently lacking in the rural areas of Kashmir, Army had hired professionals (Mr Gagan Sur and Mrs Taru Mehen) from Dehradun who have more than 20 years of experience in professional career counseling and in the fields of IIT, JEE, NDA, NTSE and various other competitive examinations.


The team of counsellors was elated to see that students in such great numbers had turned up for the workshop and quoted that equal guidance and carrier opportunities should be provided to students in each part of the country .

Brigadier Sajjanhar Visits NCC Annual Training Camp at Udhampur

  Aadil Akbar  Udhampur, August 29: Brigadier Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar, visited the Annual Training Camp of 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara at the Zorawar Training Academy, Udhampur. The camp, which began on August 23 and will conclude on September 1, 2025, holds special significance as it is the first training camp organized by the newly raised battalion. On his arrival, Brigadier Sajjanhar was received by Commanding Officer Colonel Amit Bhardwaj and Administrative Officer Lt Colonel S.S. Misquith.
