The Bharat Darshan Tour was concluded and was organized by 97 Battalion BSF , Trehgam , Kupwara , Kashmir under Civic Action Programme of MHA for Kashmiri students from 29.01.2023 to 08.02.2023 .


 A group of 14 Boys & 01 Teacher of Govt . High School of village Keran , Mandia , Kundian & Patra near to Line of Control under aegis of " Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav " participated in said tour .


 After arrival ,Shri Anil Verma  Commandant (Adm) / Officiating DIG , SHQ BSF Kupwara gave warm welcome to them at 97 Battalion BSF Trehgam ( Kupwara ) . 


Students enthusiastically shared their experiences and learnings from the tour . The tour was earlier flagged off by Shri Anil Verma , Commandant ( Adm ) / Officiating DIG , SHQ BSF Kupwara on 29 Jan 2023. During the 11 days tour , these students visited places of historical , cultural importance in surrounding area to witness the multicultural & multilingual diversity of mighty India . 


These students visited all the major tourist attractions in and around the Srinagar - Dal Lake , Pari Mahal , Tulip Garden & Nisat Bagh . Jaipur - Hawa Mahal Jantar Mantar , Amer Fort, Light and sound show . Ajmer - Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti Dargah . Visited the National Capital Delhi , in which Rashtrapati Bhavan , Mughal Garden ( Now known as Amrit Udhyan , Red Fort , Jama Masjid ,Lotus Temple and also enjoyed the journey of the Delhi Metro , which is called as lifeline of Delhi . Besides interacted with Tourists , BSF Officers and troops .


 During the tour , students carried the message of love and peace from the Kashmir Valley to the rest of India .



During closing ceremony a debate competition was conducted among all participants concerning to their travelogue , in which winners i.e. 1st position and 2nd position were awarded by Sh . Anil Verma , Offg DIG SHQ Kupwara . Chief Guest also presented a photo album having their tour memories and woolen thermal inner wear to all participants further followed by tea and snacks . 


All participants appreciated the Bharat Darshan Tour 2023 and all the arrangements i.e. Accommodation , food , Transport , Curriculum , quality of the items issued to them . Participants further shared their experience with the Chief Guest , Officers and troops , friends & families that this tour provided a unique exposure to them regarding rich culture of India and also enabled them to gain first - hand knowledge about various developments taking place in different parts . of the country .

Brigadier Sajjanhar Visits NCC Annual Training Camp at Udhampur

  Aadil Akbar  Udhampur, August 29: Brigadier Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar, visited the Annual Training Camp of 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara at the Zorawar Training Academy, Udhampur. The camp, which began on August 23 and will conclude on September 1, 2025, holds special significance as it is the first training camp organized by the newly raised battalion. On his arrival, Brigadier Sajjanhar was received by Commanding Officer Colonel Amit Bhardwaj and Administrative Officer Lt Colonel S.S. Misquith.
