 AGS CHANDIGAM Marks Kargil Vijay Diwas with Dignity

On the eve of KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS local youth and students of Lolab organised Patriotic and Cultural Programmes to celebrate its 24th anniversary. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on 26th of Jul every year to commemorate the historical victory of India over Pakistan in Kargil war/ Op Vijay. 


The event was organised at AGS Chandigam wherin over 1500 students from the schools of Lolab valley, took part in the event.


 The event showcased mesmerising patriotic songs, dramas about the fallen soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during Kargil war and enthralling dance performances by the students.


The occasion was also graced by dignitaries including Commanding Officer of the army unit at Gujjarpatti Garrison, DSP Lolab, SDM Sogam, Zonal Educational Officer Lolab, Principal Degree College Sogam, etc. Such an overwhelming participation by the youth of Kashmir for a Patriotic event and their soul touching performances is  testimony to the change which has come about in Kashmir and the bright road  lying ahead for the valley.

Brigadier Sajjanhar Visits NCC Annual Training Camp at Udhampur

  Aadil Akbar  Udhampur, August 29: Brigadier Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar, visited the Annual Training Camp of 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara at the Zorawar Training Academy, Udhampur. The camp, which began on August 23 and will conclude on September 1, 2025, holds special significance as it is the first training camp organized by the newly raised battalion. On his arrival, Brigadier Sajjanhar was received by Commanding Officer Colonel Amit Bhardwaj and Administrative Officer Lt Colonel S.S. Misquith.
