North Kashmir Inter  Battalion CRPF Volleyball Tournament Concludes

45 Battalion CRPF lifts trophy

Kupwara : A two day volleyball tournament under the aegis of DIG, North Kashmir Ops Range (NKOR) CRPF was conducted  in the campus of 162 Battalion CRPF, Kupwara . 


Nine Ops units ie; 03,45,53,92,98,162,176,177&179 participated in the tournament. 




The final match was played between 45 Battalion CRPF  and 03  Battalion CRPF in which 45  Battalion CRPF won the championship. 


Shri Rajendra Singh Rawat, DIG, NKOR, Baramulla graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He exhorted the troops to take part in various sporting activities for maintaining sound health and sound mind in the midst of the challenging duties being performed in Kashmir valley. 



Commandants of various Units were also present at the closing ceremony.


 The occasion culminated with pomp and show in which the Officers and Jawans of 162  Battalion CRPF entertained the guests with patriotic songs, poems, lively music and popular regional dances.

Brigadier Sajjanhar Visits NCC Annual Training Camp at Udhampur

  Aadil Akbar  Udhampur, August 29: Brigadier Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar, visited the Annual Training Camp of 7 J&K Battalion NCC Kupwara at the Zorawar Training Academy, Udhampur. The camp, which began on August 23 and will conclude on September 1, 2025, holds special significance as it is the first training camp organized by the newly raised battalion. On his arrival, Brigadier Sajjanhar was received by Commanding Officer Colonel Amit Bhardwaj and Administrative Officer Lt Colonel S.S. Misquith.
