Colonel Rajinder Singh Chauhan Remembered on 23rd Anniversary






 Handwara: Army’s 21 Rashtriya Rifles (Guards) on Wednesday paid rich tributes to Colonel Rajinder Singh Chauhan Sena Medal (Posthumously) on his 23rd anniversary.

“This day, the “Triple Centurions” remember IC-35159K Col RS Chauhan, SM (Posthumous) 21 RR (Guards), for his the supreme sacrifice while displaying conspicuous gallantry in the highest traditions of the Indian Army while combating terrorists on 21 August 2000 in Handwara, Jammu & Kashmir,” reads a statement issued here.

“An epitome of fearlessness, his supreme sacrifice inspires the “Triple Centurions” to uphold the values of valour and sacrifice in the Service of the Nation,” reads a statement attributed to Col Rajiv Kumar, Commanding Officer, and all Ranks of 21 Rashtriya Rifles (Guards).
