 Maiden NGO conclave held at Handwara  Aadil Akbar  Handwara Feb 27: Despite the progress made in the field of social development, challenges faced by Kashmir are complex and persistent, requiring concerted efforts from multiple stakeholders. NGOs play a critical role in this effort.  ‘NGOs Conclave’ is a platform to bring together various NGOs to engage in meaningful discussions aimed at addressing the pressing social and economic challenges faced by Kashmir. ”NGO CONCLAVE - 2023”, the first ever convention in Kashmir, was organised at Environmental Hall, Handwara under Army Camp Bhagatpura in collaboration with Centre for Research on Public Policy (CRPP) to provide a unique opportunity for NGOs to network, exchange ideas &  best practices and forge partnerships and help them to have a greater impact in the region.  The conclave brought together various community ldrs and govt officials including Mr Nazir Ah Mir ADC Handwara,  Mr Sulaiman Mir, DDC...

 Indian Army in collaboration with Degree College Sogam organised a seminar on " G 20 Summit 2023 and opportunities for Kashmir Aadil Akbar Kupwara  "Vasudeva Kutumbakam", the theme of G20 Summit 2023 which means, "One Earth, One Family, One Future". This theme affirms the 'Value of Life' - human, animal, plant and microorganisms - and their interconnectedness on the planet Earth and in wider universe. Staying true to its theme, G20 Summit 2023 is being hosted by India and is going to cover important aspects such as education, finance, women empowerment, tourism, environment and climate suitability, culture, agriculture , sustainable development, energy transitions, disaster and risk reduction, digital economy, trade and investment, employment and health.                                                                ...

 Army provides assistance in recovery of accident vehicle  Aadil Akbar Handwara  A road accident involving two civil vehicles occurred at Handwara main road at around 1545h on 09 Feb 2023. All the passengers are safe. On receiving the info, Soldiers of Army Camp Bhagatpura quickly pressed into action.  The Recovery Team along with recovery vehicle reached the accident site, towed the vehicle and shifted it to the nearest garage.  The locals present at the site thanked the Army for its  timely assistance that prevented traffic congestion in the area.

 97 Battalion BSF organised Bharat Darshan Tour for Kupwara students today concluded Aadil Akbar  Kupwara  The Bharat Darshan Tour was concluded and was organized by 97 Battalion BSF , Trehgam , Kupwara , Kashmir under Civic Action Programme of MHA for Kashmiri students from 29.01.2023 to 08.02.2023 .  A group of 14 Boys & 01 Teacher of Govt . High School of village Keran , Mandia , Kundian & Patra near to Line of Control under aegis of " Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav " participated in said tour .  After arrival ,Shri Anil Verma  Commandant (Adm) / Officiating DIG , SHQ BSF Kupwara gave warm welcome to them at 97 Battalion BSF Trehgam ( Kupwara ) .  Students enthusiastically shared their experiences and learnings from the tour .
