 Indian Army in Collaboration with NGO, Plasma NCR and District Administration Organised Multi Speciality Mega Medical Camp at Krusan Lolab  Aadil Akbar Kupwara Indian Army has always been a front runner in providing a helping hand to any public initiative and community service. Continuing this tradition, Indian Army in collaboration with the NGO, PlasmaNCR and district administration organised a mega medical camp at Krusan village of Kupwara district in Lolab valley of North Kashmir as a Precursor event for upcoming Lolab Mela.  The main aim of the medical camp was to provide medical assistance to people living in the remote areas of Lolab valley and to spread awareness about various health related issues. Over 1600 people attended a mega medical camp. Aadil Akbar Kupwara  On 15th August 2022, Har Ghar Jhanda Programme was organised by 57 Battalion BSF as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Govt High School Melyal. National flag hoisted by Sh A K Vidyarthi, DIG SHQ BSF Kupwara in the premises of Govt Hight School Melyal. During the programme Sh Surendra Mishra, Commandant, Sh Ramakant DC, 09 SOs, 62 Ors of 57 Bn BSF, troops of CRPF and J&K Police were present.  Indian  Army in Collaboration with Hawk Eye Commando Security Pvt Ltd Organised a 'Job Fair' for Youth of Lolab at  Tekipora Aadil Akbar Kupwara  In consonance with *Mission Youth*, an ambitious initiative aimed to provide a vibrant medium for youth engagement & empowerment in J&K, Indian Army in collaboration with *'Hawk Eye Commando Security Pvt Ltd. organised a consultation cum registration program on 23rd and 24th July 2022, in order to educate, promulgate awareness on avenues of employment and provide employment* for youth of Kashmir. The officials from Hawk Eye Commando Security along with Indian Army carried out the interaction cum motivational session for the youth and set up the registration counters in which 313 youth from Lolab got registered who will be interviewed subsequently for various jobs as per their educational qualification. *The agency assured 100 percent placement* in various sectors like Hotels, Schools, hospitals and industries....

 Commemorative Events Organised by Indian Army to Pay Honour to Kargil Victory Flame at Lolab Valley” Aadil Akbar Kupwara  As a run-up to commemorating the Kargil Vijay Diwas, on July 06, 2022, the Kargil Vijay Diwas Victory Flame arrived at Zorawar Garrison, Gujjarpatti amidst traditional fanfare.  The Victory Flame was flagged off from Udhampur-based HQ Northern Command on June 17, 2022 and arrived at Zorawar Garrison, Gujjarpatti today.  *Renovation and Inauguration Ceremony of Chandi Mata Temple and Ziarat Peer Dasgir at Chandigam Village in Lolab Valley. Aadil Akbar Kupwara The Lolab Valley is home of many ancient springs, Temples, Shrines and Ziarat, which are the symbol of religious harmony, peace and tranquillity in Kashmir. Chandigam is a Village with scenic natural beauty in Sogam Block in Kupwara District of Jammu & Kashmir, which is named after Hindu diety Chandi Mata. The village had a very old temple dedicated to Chandi Mata in the village which was a major religious attraction for the locals till late 80’s, until the ill fated exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley. In fact, Chandigam village itself boasted of about 114 Kashmiri Pandit families in those days. During the exodus, the fleeing families uprooted the idol from the mandir and took it along with them, fearing desecration of the holy idol.
